PADI Bubblemaker Programme
Children are amazing, they are adventurous, fun, open minded among many other things, and how many times have parents said "I wish I had done that as a kid"?
Its the same with scuba diving, and the Bubblemaker program gives children the opertunity to experience scuba diving while in a safe and controlled environment.
What is it?
A Bubblemaker program is a Discover Scuba Diving programme specifically designed for children.
What do you do?
Much like a full Discover Scuba Diving programme, a Bubblemaker program initially explains what a scuba unit is, and then introduces the children to the scuba unit in the water. Once comfortable the children are then taken on a swim around the pool to allow them to experience the full feeling of weightlessness. Followed by some underwater games to get the children really into the swing (or rather swim) of things.
How long does it last?
Generally a Bubblemaker program last around 1hr.
How much does it cost?
A basic Bubblemaker programme (pool dive and intro lecture) costs £20
However if you wish for a full package which includes a Bubblemaker crew-pak (containing, beach towel, log book, certificates and cards, stickers, water toy etc.) the charge will increase to £50.
What basic requirements are there?
Each participant must be:
8 - 10 years old.
Be able to swim comfortably
And enjoy the water.
What do I need to bring?
A swimming costume and T-shirt, everything else is provided.
When can I do it?
Scubafish has a pool on a Tuesday evening, so any Tuesday you feel like.
What´s next?
PADI also offer an adventure programme called the PADI Seal Team. This takes the children that little bit further into diving and allows them to have real fun and adventure in the pool.
