Diving fills us with wonderful memories each time we get into the water. Wouldn´t it be lovely to capture some of these memories so that we can take them home and show them to other people?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer can help with that.
What is it?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course will teach you the skills and techniques you need to be able to take wonderful images with saftey and with full confidence.
What do you do?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course is split into 2 level, both levels have an academic portion containing self study elements and Knowledge development sessions. This is combined with a pool and open water session, in the pool you will learn the fundimental skills needed to take good underwater photographs, this will then be carried on into open water where you will demonstrate your skiils to your insturctor.
- Level One - on completion of this level you will be able to
-Enter the water while caring from your camera.
-Test Properfunctioning of camera.
-Take blur free images.
-Take phots while caring for the environment.
- Level Two - on completion of this level you will be able to
-Assemble and test camera.
-Practice with good lighting.
-Transefer, and manipulate images on home computers.
How long does it last?
Typically the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course is run over 1 confined water session with 1 open water day.
How much does it cost?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographger course cost £120 per person

What other requirements are there?
You have to be:
10 years or older (no age limit for snorkelers.
Complete the PADI medical form (click for download).
A PADI Open Water diver or Equivalent.
Have a keen sense of adventure.

When can I do it?
Scubafish run PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Courses continually, so whenever your ready to sign up.
What next after this?
You can continue the adventure further by becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver, by completing 5 specialties and 50 Dives.
To expand your experience you can also sign up for a Scubafish diving trip to try some of the wonderful diving the UK has to offer as well as those sites overseas.
