PADI Underwater Navigator

NavIn everyday life we always seem to need to know where we are going.   This is is the same with scuba diving.  But with scuba diving we don´t have the usual references to help us.

This is where the PADI Underwater Navigator course can help.


What is it?

The PADI Underwater Navigator course will teach you the skills and techniques you need to be able to navigate on dives safely and with full confidence.

What do you do?

The PADI Underwater Navigator course is split in to 2 distinct areas:
  • Academic self study - PADI course materials are very comprehensive and as part of the course you will be issued with a PADI Underwater Navigator Crew-Pak.  This pack contains all the manuals and educational tools you will need to complete this programme. 

    Your instructor will review your completed knowledge reviews, and provided help on any missed areas
  • Optional Open Water Session - The PADI Underwater Navigator Course has 2 dives where you will learn the many diffrent techniuqes to good under water navigation

How long does it last?

Typically the PADI Underwater Navigator course is run over 1 open water day.

How much does it cost?

The PADI Underwater Navigator course cost £90 per person

  • Included in the course:
    All Course materials (PADI Underwater Navigator Crew-pak and Certification)
    Tuition
  • Not Included in the course:
    Dive site entrance fees
    General Kit Hire
    Additional Open Water Air fills
    Accommodation
    Transportation
    Refreshments

What other requirements are there?

You have to be:

10 years or older.
Complete the PADI medical form (click for download).
A PADI Open Water diver or Equivalent.
Have a keen sense of adventure.

What do I need to bring?

  • Open Water Sessions - Usual Scuba equipment

When can I do it?

Scubafish run PADI Underwater Navigator Courses continually, so whenever your ready to sign up.

What next after this?

You can continue the adventure further by becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver, by completing 5 specialties and 50 Dives.
 
To expand your experience you can also sign up for a Scubafish diving trip to try some of the wonderful diving the UK has to offer as well as those sites overseas.
